My son’s school (an inner city school of about 3000 students that is 94% non-white) bucked the odds and their limited resources to come in second at the Northern California marching band championships. They were there all day. Our kids ate pizza, while Silicon Valley schools had catered meals. I was so proud of them

Aww, that’s so awesome for them! I miss when my band kids wanted to do well. Now they’re just wasting my time and ruining my life.
